Single Bed Sets & Mattresses

You can buy single mattresses or bed sets in two sizes. A standard size single mattress measures 91cm wide x 188cm long, while an extra length mattress measures 91cm wide x 200cm long. Mattress thickness and base height as in the case of a bed set are not uniform and will differ depending on model and manufacturer.
A single bed is the narrowest standard size readily available and idealy used by children or in situations where space does not allow wider. The next standard size up is the Three Quarter Bed at 107cm. Often two single beds of the same make and model are used next to each other, making it a king size bed.
